Articulation agreements are set up between Odessa College and partner universities to provide students with guaranteed acceptance of certain agreed upon courses as well as help smooth the process for transferring to a university. These agreements also may provide students with guaranteed acceptance into the university or a specific program, access to university materials, events, or facilities, or scholarships. We strive to provide our students with as many options and opportunities as possible.

Although it is highly recommended that you complete your associate degree, there are times that transferring may be your best plan.  Academic credits for course work completed at a university are transferred back to OC to satisfy the associate degree requirements.   Courses you have completed at a university are applied to both the associate and baccalaureate degrees.  You must be a former OC student and must meet the OC resident credit requirements.

Residency Credit Requirement:

Option 1: Complete a minimum of 25% of the semester credit hours required for the degree, excluding developmental or awarded credits, at Odessa College.

Option 2: Complete a minimum of 18 semester credit hours, excluding developmental or awarded credits, at Odessa College; at least 12 of which must be the last hours taken before the degree is granted; and, if the degree is in a career, technical or workforce education program, complete at least 12 semester hours in the major field at Odessa College.
